Team & Roles
Manage team members and understand the permission model in LoomDeploy.
Roles
LoomDeploy has three roles:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access — manage users, projects, settings, source control |
| Developer | Create/deploy/manage projects and env vars. Cannot manage users or global settings |
| Viewer | Read-only access — view projects, deployments, and logs |
Inviting team members
- Go to Settings → Members.
- Click Create User.
- Enter a username, email, password, and select a role.
- Share the credentials with your team member.
LoomDeploy uses username/password authentication. There is no email-based invitation flow yet — you create the account and share the credentials manually.
First-run registration lock
When LoomDeploy is first installed, the registration page is open so you can create the admin account. After the first account is created, registration is automatically locked.
New users can only be created by an Admin from the Settings → Members page.
Changing passwords
Users can change their own password from Settings → Security. Admins can reset any user's password from Settings → Members.
Removing users
Go to Settings → Members, find the user, and click Delete. This removes their account and revokes all active sessions immediately.
